The Association will present the LT Patrick K. Connor Memorial Award to the top graduating senior pursing a career in aviation and Certificates of Membership to all of the graduating seniors.

  • Presentation of Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Service Awards
  • Reports from officers and committee chairs
  • Questions and answer session with members and the board.

UNC Naval ROTC Alumni Association

We are a non-profit service organization of the NROTC Unit at the University of North Carolina. Our association promotes the interests of the NROTC Program and its midshipmen alumni in many ways:

  • Encourage fellowship among the graduates of the univeristy and members of the association, through the publication of a newsletter, and other porjects which the board may from time to time prescribe.
  • Assist the NROTC Unit recruiting effort by providing current and prospective students with information about opportunities offered through the NROTC program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
  • Research, preserve, and physically display items of historic significance and tradition shared by the univerity and the U.S. Navel Service.
  • Establish a speakers bureau and information resouce to other organizations, as required.
  • Endow awards, scholarships, and other activities in furtherance of educational objectives of the NROTC program, which the board may from time to time establish.
