Steven P. FishUNC NROTC Class of 1985. Commissioned into Surface Warfare. SWOS in San Diego.

USS Thach (FFG 43) – Auxiliaries Officer, Main Propulsion Assistant and Combat Information Center Officer – 1 WESTPAC and 1 tour to the Persian Gulf for Operation Earnest Will and tanker escort. Qualified SWO, EOOW, TAO.

Department Head School in Newport, RI.

USS Hawes (FFG 53) – Engineer Officer. 1 deployment to Persian Gulf for Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.

USS MacDonough (DDG 39) – Engineer Officer. Major overhaul, LOE & OPPE and return to operations via GITMO REFTRA

Converted to Reserves in 1992 and resigned my commission in 1995.

1992 – 2001 – Consulting sales engineer with Nalco Chemical Company in the power generation industry.

2001 – present – Own & operate a financial planning practice with Eagle Strategies LLC, an affiliate of New York Life Insurance Company.

I live and work in and from the Richmond, VA area. My passion is helping others and endeavor to do that in all walks of life. I am a licensed Coast Guard Captain to 100 tons and love the water and being on it anywhere – fishing, boating and relaxing, including running private-party yacht charters in the Caribbean (Mary Chan Charters on Facebook).
